Kathleen Cook

A community is more than just a place you call home. It’s the people, the businesses and their desire to come together to make that community a better place. Kathleen Cook is deeply invested in the community, both personally and professionally as the MLA for the Roblin constituency in the Manitoba Legislature.

About Kathleen

Kathleen is a lifelong Winnipegger, and Charleswood is where she and her husband Jared, along with their four children, chose to put down roots nearly a decade ago. It’s a community she’s actively served as a board member and volunteer coordinator at Roblin Park Community Centre, a Guider with the Girl Guides of Canada, and a number of other volunteer roles.

A mother to two sets of twins, Kathleen doesn’t back down from a challenge. Before being elected, Kathleen represented and advocated for nearly 10,000 small and medium-sized businesses across four provinces and territories as Director of Legislative Affairs for Canada’s largest small business advocacy organization. She has also spent many years of her career serving as a senior policy advisor and project manager at both the municipal and provincial levels of government.
The opportunity to serve the residents of Charleswood and Headingley as MLA for the Roblin constituency is a privilege and responsibility that Kathleen takes very seriously. Please feel free to reach out to her at the constituency office to share your questions, concerns, and feedback.
