Headingley Library – The Headingley Library is located at 49 Alboro Street in Headingley and has general and children’s sections.
Headingley Senior Services – The Headingley Senior Services Mission is to encourage older adults to maintain independent living and improve their quality of life by providing education, recreation, health and social opportunities.
Headingley Grand Trunk Trail – The Headingley Grand Trunk Trail is the abandoned rail line that traverses the municipalities of Headingley and Cartier from the Perimeter Highway to Beaudry Park

Headingley Historical Society – Headingley has a rich history, from war heroes, fall suppers and much, much more it is captured through this site.

Headingley Community Centre – Used for community events, socials, weddings, business meetings, the Headingley Community Centre at 5353 Portage Avenue it has become the most recognized community center in our region. Next door you will find Jim’s Vintage Garages, a heritage museum that is open in the summer months to visitors.
Jim’s Vintage Garage – Jim’s Vintage Garage is part of Headingley’s history and is beside the Headingley Community Centre
Phoenix Recreation Association – The Phoenix Community Centre is located at 153 Seekings Street, in the heart of the Headingley south hamlet. Phoenix is Headingley’s original community center built many years ago but is still used extensively by our community recreation groups.
Headingley Chamber of Commerce – The Headingley Chamber of Commerce is Headingly’s business networking organization. The chamber has a membership of around 90 business owners in the Headingley Region.
Charleswood
Varsity View Community Centre – Varsity View CC keeps our community active with outdoor and indoor sports programming. The Main Club is the original site of the Varsity View Community Club and plays a major role in the various indoor programs such as Bingo, Nursery School and socials. It is located at 315 Laxdal Rd. An additional indoor rink was constructed at 4230 Ridgewood Ave which houses the indoor ice used for the Hockey and Ringette Leagues.
Roblin Park Community Centre – A very busy community center and run completely by volunteers! RPCC hosts two major fundraising events every year: the annual Rob/West Fall Classic hockey tournament, in partnership with the Charleswood Hawks, and the annual Winter Carnival – a week-long winter celebration featuring a house league hockey tournament and fabulous indoor and outdoor activities. Roblin Park Community Centre is also home to the Roblin Park Children’s Program, a 70-space licensed childcare facility that provides Nursery School, Kinder Care, and School Age Care.
Westdale Community Centre – Located at 550 Dale Boulevard, the Westdale Community Centre is home to indoor and outdoor sports with soccer and hockey programs, healthy baby program, hall rentals, and more!
Friends of the Harte Trail – Our popular trail is part of the Trans Canada Trail and runs through a narrow strip of wilderness on an old railway bed after the Prairie Dogs’ historic last run. The path is intersected by half a dozen streets of Charleswood. Its name is taken from the Harte Line, the first section of Grand Trunk Pacific Railway built in western Canada in 1894.

The Charleswood Historical Society – The Charleswood Historical Society (C.H.S.) was formed in 1974 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the incorporation of the City of Winnipeg. The Charleswood Historical Society maintains artifacts, memorabilia, articles, mementos, and items of historical interest and significance relating to the former R.M. of Charleswood. They run the Charleswood Museum which houses a wonderful collection of artifacts from days gone by!
Charleswood Senior Centre – The Centre is an age-friendly community focal point where mature adults or groups of adults can come together for services and activities that enhance their dignity, support their independence, and encourage their involvement in and with the community.
Charleswood Legion – The Charleswood Legion is a diverse Service Organization serving a culturally diverse Charleswood community. We continue to oversee the growth and evolution of our organization as we honour and remember our Military and “Adapt” to the future; while at the same time preserving its heritage.
Assiniboia Chamber of Commerce – The Assiniboia Chamber works within and with the business community in West Winnipeg; home to over 4,000 businesses and 100,000 residents! A great resource for community information and activity.
Charleswood Rotary Club – The Rotary Club of Winnipeg, Charleswood is an active service club with a high level of member engagement. They have a vibrant satellite club established in 2023. They feature interesting guest speakers at weekly meetings, and they maintain a social media presence. The Assiniboine Forest is their largest and longstanding project (over 30 years as stewards of the Forest). The highly successful and effective Bridge of Hope Ukraine collects donations of furniture and household goods delivered to Ukrainian families in need. Community projects are supported by fundraising events such as their longstanding annual Lobsterfest, which is expected to exceed 600 participants in 2024.
