Petitions in the Legislature
Current petitions being presented to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba. If one or more of these petitions are important to you, please stop by our office to sign. Original signatures are required to be presented before the legislature. Check back often for updates.
1. PC Health Critic Kathleen Cook (MLA for Roblin) is petitioning the Manitoba government to immediately put forward a plan to increase breast cancer screening capacity and lower the breast cancer screening age to 40.
2. To urge the Provincial Government to call on the Federal Government to remove the punishing carbon tax on natural gas and other fuels and farm inputs for Manitoba agriculture producers and the Agri-food sector to decrease the costs of putting food on the table for Manitoba consumers
3. To urge the Provincial Government to remove the federal carbon tax on home heating bills for all Manitobans to provide them much needed relief.
4. To urge the Provincial Government to lobby the Federal Government to stop the expansion of medical assistance in dying to those for whom mental illness is the sole condition. To urge the Provincial Government to lobby the Federal Government to protect Canadians struggling with mental illness by facilitating treatment, recovery, and medical assistance in living, not death
